THE PART THAT REST PLAYS
REST leads all the hygenic measures employed in the cure and revention of tuberculosis. At first, the child finds it the least attractive of all the preventorium routine. Night time is usually the only time the child is obliged to rest in the home. Consequently the two-hour rest period in the afternoon at the camp is rather trying at first. In a short time however he learns to relax in this happy environment and the rest hour soon becomes a joy instead of a punishment. Also children enjoy doing those things in which the entire group participate. |
