MISSION
New Haven Health is a publicly accessible Web site that provides
information on the past and present health of the greater New Haven
community. The Web site has three goals:
AUDIENCE
New Haven Health is intended for faculty, researchers, students,
administrators, health officials, community organizations, and everyone
interested in the public health of the greater New Haven area.
SUPPORT
New Haven Health was funded by a grant from the National Library of
Medicine.
Information on the Web site has been provided by numerous sources,
including the Epidemiology and
Public Health Library, the New Haven Department of Health, the Connecticut
Department of Public Health, the Greater New Haven Partnership for a
Healthy Community, the Yale University
Schools of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, the New Haven Public
Library, and the New Haven Colony Historical Society.

PROJECT
MANAGEMENT
Beginning February 1, 2000, Matthew Wilcox, Director of the Epidemiology
and Public Health Library at Yale University, will be directing the New
Haven Health project. Originally conceived by the
Cushing/Whitney Medical Library, the project has been directed and managed
by Nancy Roderer, Betty Cohen, R. Kenny Marone, and Gillian
Goldsmith Mayman of the Cushing/Whitney
Medical Library and the Epidemiology and
Public Health Library, Yale University.
