bullet. Routine primary care (hypertension, diabetes mellitus, substance abuse), tuberculosis, syphilis and dermatology
Clinical Responsibilities:
bullet. Both outpatient and inpatient experiences are provided at this infectious disease referral hospital
Logistics:
bullet. Ability to speak some Spanish necessary, although attending mentors are English speaking. Patients speak Spanish and rounds are conducted in Spanish. No translator available.
bullet. Airfare and housing covered via reimbursement
bullet. Pediatricians and Ob/Gyns encouraged.
