Evaluation of pancreas and biliary disorders including pancreas cancer and cystic lesions of the pancreas. Advanced endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and ERCP for stenting of the bile duct and removal of stones. Endoscopic evaluation and staging of esophageal, pancreas and rectal cancer. Endosocpic stenting of intestinal obstruction. Colonoscopy and polypectomy. Endoscopic therapy of gastrointestinal bleeding. Evaluation and treatment of Barrett's esophagus and early esophageal cancer.
The optimal application of advanced endoscopic techniques to clinical problems including gastrointestinal bleeding, colonoscopic polyp detection, evaluation of pancreas cysts, diagnosis of pancreas cancer and therapy of bile duct obstruction.
Program Director, Yale Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship with training in EUS and ERCP.
