Blocks, Building, and Construction

Activities to do with Children
Museums to Visit

Fun activities to do with children

Make homemade blocks out of cans, tissue boxes, cardboard boxes, cereal boxes, milk cartons, and scraps of wood.

Create play scenes such as towns, skyscrapers, or houses. Add animals, toys, cars, or decorations as needed. You could use big cardboard boxes to make a fort, space ship, castle, the sky is the limit! You could call a local appliance store and see if they have any empty boxes.

Encourage a child to stack blocks and knock them down and do it all over again.

Visit Enchanted Learning or FamilyFun for building ideas.
